How Does ADVGuide Work

A quick look at how route tours move from selection to ride-ready guidance.

How it works

Getting started with ADVGuide is simple—and once you’re set up, it stays out of your way so you can focus on the ride.

Start by downloading the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. From there, browse the route catalog and pick the adventure that fits your plans. Once you’ve selected a route, purchase it, download the tour to your device, and you’re ready to go.

Before you head out, just open the app and start the tour. After that, ADVGuide takes over.

As you ride, the app uses your location to automatically play audio at the right moments—sharing stories, history, and helpful insights exactly when you reach them. There’s no need to follow a schedule, check your phone, or interact with the app while you’re on the trail.

Everything is designed to work in the background, even without cell service.

Set it up once, hit start, and ride—ADVGuide will handle the rest.

Is it necessary to download the Route Tour?

Do I need to do anything to ensure the tour operates smoothly while I ride?

Each audio spot is triggered independently as you cross its geofence. This means you can start or rejoin the tour at any point, and it will resume from that location.
